August 21st – Overnight Flights will be made available from multiple airports via Qatar Airways into Male Airport in Maldives where you will meet up with other solo female girlfriends getaway travelers. 

August 22nd  – Upon arrival to Male, we will meet our seaplane and take off for the 45 minute scenic ride to Angsana Velavanu and get you checked into your chosen over water villas on the ocean or the beach villa on our own little private islands resort.  We are not headed to Soneva Jani but I promise it is still one of the best Maldives Resorts you can imagine!!  The rest of the day will be on your own to relax.  We will all meet up for dinner to get to know one another.  The best part, no dropping any kids off at the kids club on this trip!  In the meantime, start to stretch those tight muscles.  Take a little nap.  Take a yoga class or, for those that have them, enjoy a dip in your private plunge pool! 

August 23rd  –  Today is our first of two full days to enjoy the resort and adjust to the time change.  You can partake in some of the on site activities like learning about Bodu Beru or taking optional Scuba lessons or the Snorkeling Safari offered today.  Of course, if relaxing is more your idea of a good time and you want to dive into a good book or just relax with a drink and take full advantage of that All Inclusive Resorts Vacation Package, that is your choice to do so!  OR spend the whole day in your overwater villa…totally up to you!  I will likely have a little gathering in the private pool in mine!  Spa treatments will be scheduled today throughout the day and then tonight…is MOVIE NIGHT!  Film TBD!  Dinner will be on your own.  So grab a few of your new friends.  Grab a table and we will meet up for the movie later!

August 24th – Today, for those who would like to partake, we will set off on our optional swim with the whale sharks tours.  I have actually done this in Mexico.  They are incredibly graceful, beautiful docile, HUGE creatures and they are guaranteed to mesmerize, especially in these crystal clear azure waters.  The whale shark snorkeling trip will likely take about 6 hours and could involve a stop at a house reef or two.  Those who do not wish to join us to experience the marine life will have other options available at the resort or you have a day free to do whatever you like.  You can, of course, schedule your free massage on this day as well.  Just let me know so I do not schedule you on one of the previous days. Or perhaps you want to do the free one on one of the previous days and schedule something else today… You do you!   Dinner schedule to be decided.

August 25th – Today will be our second full day on the resort to enjoy however you wish. There will be time to sleep in if you would like to, then enjoy the beautiful private island and your beach villa or overwater bungalow.  With most luxury womens travel groups, I feel like they are overscheduled. THIS is NOT that trip.  This is meant to be a relaxing retreat to unwind and recharge. Eat some ice cream.  There are no calories here in the Maldives! Enjoy indoor or outdoor time!  Its your choice.  In case you have not gotten the message, it is always YOUR CHOICE!  It is YOUR vacation!  Pluss, this resort has bird feeding, catamarans, snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, and volleyball!  I ned to let you enjoy that right?!  Then, as this afternoon is coming to a close, we will set sail on a sunset cruise and watch the sun melt into those gorgeous ocean views.  Watch the sky go from clear blue to oranges,lavender and yellows as you sip on a cocktail and watch the dolphins dip in and out of the sea around us.  Dinner upon return will be on our own this evening so enjoy some time with your friends who are like family now.

August 26th  –  It would be a shame to miss out on immersing ourselves in the local culture. That’s why we’ve organized a guided excursion to a neighboring island, where you can fully embrace the rural way of life in the South Nilandhe Atoll. After our return, we’ll have the opportunity to savor the tastes of Maldivian cuisine during a cooking lesson led by locals. This will give you the knowledge and abilities to recreate this delightful encounter for your family and friends back home.

Finally, let’s not forget about Karaoke! Tonight, we will discover if any of us have hidden singing talents. Personally, I am not one of them, but I will definitely support and encourage you all. As for dinner, we can discuss and decide, but I would love for us to have our final dinner together if everyone is interested!

August 27th – All good things must come to an end and our Womens group adventure also sadly must come to an end.  Today, we head back into our seaplane for a majestic ride back to Male and then we will find our flights home on Qatar airways.  

OH WAIT!!  I forgot to mention that for all those “optional activities”…you were wondering how much those were going to be right?!  Well, we are going to include $75 in resort credits to use toward those EACH DAY – PER PERSON!  So, optional away ladies!  Your massage, sea plane transfers, meals, drinks and three activities are already included.
